Wizardly Weight Lose: Lose It Like A Wizard!

No offense dude but you need some serious cleansing!

Alright, your sick of being a fat, plump, or a non toned wizard. I get it…I feel ya! Since Iโ€™ve been a slacking nugget these days I decided to pick up wizardly qualities that I left behind and I’m beginning to venture on my health adventure once again. So if you’re interested in losing weight like a wicked wizard please read on:

1. Do a candida cleanse! Candida is a type of yeast found in everybody’s gut, and it aids in digestion. However, for a lot of people, depending on their diet and health, they can suffer Candida overgrowth. The symptoms of candida overgrowth is psoriasis, itchy skin, irritability and mood swings, intense sugar cravings, headaches and shaking and/or cold sweats when hungry, dizziness. I know I have it! I have been having itchy skin, I get dizzy sometimes, and I have mood swings. I’m done with this! I’m gonna fix my diet for once and for all and solve this unnecessary problem! On a candida diet you should avoid these foods: dairy, grains, fruits, sugar, molds, fungus. The best thing to eat to lose weight and get rid of this candida overgrowth is ingest green vegetables or juice green vegetables. Plain and simple!

Foods That Fight Candida Overgrowth

Coconut Oil- It is a potent antifungal!

Garlic- is also a powerful antifungal and and boosts good bacteria in your digestive system. It also stimulates the liver and colon. Drinking 2-4 cloves by juicing is a good tonic for candida. I actually tried this and oh my lordy is it nasty! As my mother says beauty is pain (In the physical sense)…yeah VERY painful to the tastebuds.

Onions- They are anti fungal, help get rid of those un panache’ parasite, and help with water retention (which I have).

Seaweed- It’s iodine rich and helps balance the thyroid (which the thyroid is the king of the metabolism). Also, it flushes heavy metals from the body.

Rutabaga- Is supposedly one of the best anti fungal foods out there.ย 

Ginger- It detoxifies the liver and stimulates the immune system.

Pumpkin seeds- are high in omega fatty acids and that helps fight candida. If your a woman I suggest staying away from these seeds though because I read they increase testosterone.

Cayenne Pepper- I can’t rave about this spice enough! I always put this spice in my water for a metabolism boost and for it’s spicy taste on my food. It increases circulation in the body and helps the digestive system.

Cleansing Is The Key

Drinking Psyllium Husk for fiber is good for cleansing. Also acacia powder and apple fiber are good fiber choices as well.

Drinking Liquid Bentonite Clay is also necessary for cleansing and combining it with fiber is the best choice. The Bentonite clay soaks up toxins, and the fiber pushes waste matter out through your colon.

Doing 15 colonics in 30 days is very helpful in cleaning out your system and of the candida overgrowth. The only reason I say 15 colonics is because I read this in the book Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You To Know About A very good book I highly recommend it!

Reflection

Reflection, a word every individual should act out and incorporate into their daily lives. Without reflection of ourselves there is never any room for improvement. Again as I sit in my cave of contentment I reflect on the past wrongdoings and foolish behavior I had once done in the past. I blame the song Perfection by Goldfinger and its enchanting sound. Why must we feel the need to judge others from outside appearances? Why don’t we all just treat others how we want to be treated. I just would like to reflect on how our lives can sincerely change by the way we perceive others and treating others how we want to be treated. Now this discussion is pretty well forced into our lives beginning as young children and carried upon until we are adults but let’s get real do any one of us really try to do our very best at treating others how we want to be treated. I know I don’t! I’m not saying I’m a bitter cold-hearted Grinch here but I must say I’ve haven’t always had the kindest words to say about others. So once again I reflect on my wrongdoings and I am determined to completely turn around my outlook on others and transform my not so kind words into a reflection of a sincerity and uplifting behavior. I’ve already started to start my mission of enlightenment and I must say it is quite satisfying. Below are my steps to pure contentment and enlightenment:

~Be content with what you already have. If you have food, water, and shelter you are set. Here is a quote that really inspired me with this situation: “Every time you spend money, you’re casting a vote for the kind of world you want.” -Anna Lappe

~Have future plans or goals that you want to reach. Because with those ideas in mind there is always something to look forward too.

~Don’t conform. Listen to your gut and stay true to yourself.

~Have a healthy lifestyle: when having this it will not only make you feel better but with certain foods and herbal remedies can help you have a more positive and serene outlook on life.

Happy Foods/Herbal Remedies

  1. Eating oranges, it’s that simple.
  2. St.John’s Wort, a herb that helps serotonin (one of the main chemical messenger sin the brain) levels. This herb is mainly given to individuals that have depression. I personally do not have depression but I must say since I take this herb that it definitely gives you a happy boost and is safe to take even if you don’t have depression. If you are on ANY kind of pharmaceutical medication you should make sure your medication doesn’t interfere or have side effects with this herb. This herb is excellent and is one of my top favorite herbs to take. I ingest it either through tea or capsule form.
  3. Passion flower, this flower also helps stabilize and increase serotonin levels. I suggest you either take St.Johns Wort or Passion flower and see which one your prefer. You should not take both St.John’s Wort and Passion Flower together because it would be a waste of each herb. Both of the herbs pretty much have the same affects so only stick with one.
  4. Kava Kava Extract, this herb originated from islands located around Fiji. This herb increases cheerfulness in your mood. Merry Christmas Grinch! ๐Ÿ™‚ Haha, anyways I take this herb usually at night or when I want to feel extremely relaxed. Make sure you won’t be driving for a while it really does make you VERY relaxed.
  5. Hibiscus Tea, I take a tea with hibiscus in it but it is actually called Groovy Tea. No joke! I love this tea it tastes extremely delicious.
